Seagrass comes from the costal banks of rivers in Vietnam and China.  It is collected by hand, dried and then spun into cords before being woven into carpets. Its is recommended for use in light and medium domestic areas and gives a rustic look to any interior.  It is completely sustainable and renewable and offers a softer feel underfoot, but is durable and hardwearing.
